As we look back over the past month, we begin by thanking God for His kindness to us as a church family. We are grateful for the joy of gathering each Sunday and continuing our series through Mark’s Gospel, where the Lord keeps showing us the authority, compassion, and call of Jesus. We also give thanks that Steven was able to serve at Contagious Go and the 11–14s camp, spending time in Proverbs with young people and seeing God at work in their lives. These opportunities strengthen our wider gospel partnerships and remind us of the privilege of investing in the next generation.
Looking ahead, please join us in praying for the Blandford Summer Fayre on 31st August. We are partnering with DYFC, using their cage football to create a fun, welcoming space for families and young people. Pray that this will open doors for good conversations and genuine connections. We will also be giving out “Who is the GOAT?” tracts from Christians in Sport — ask that these spark curiosity about Jesus and lead to further gospel opportunities.
Please pray for energy, unity, and boldness as we serve together, and that many in Blandford would encounter Christ through our witness.
