Riverside Church, Blandford is a church plant from Broadstone Baptist Church with
the support of several local churches.
Planted in November 2025, it seeks to reach Blandford and surrounding communities with the gospel. We are to do by first loving God, which overflows to loving people and results in pushing back darkness.
We seek to do this in creative ways which engage our local community with the gospel.
We believe that the Bible is God’s word to all people in every generation and it is central to all we do. It is for this reason that we meet every Sunday to hear what God has to say to us and to worship him. In our worship, we use a mixture of traditional hymns and modern songs. We seek to be reformed in our theology but modern in our expression.
We remember Jesus’ death through the Lord’s supper on the first Sunday morning of each month. This time is included as part of our worship service. After our morning meeting, we continue to enjoy a time of informal fellowship over tea and coffee.
Every month we enjoy a ‘Spud Sunday’, meeting in each other’s homes for fellowship.
